Cbank rate decision may back Russian stocks amid neutral environ
MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian stock market may be supported by softer monetary policy rhetoric of the central bank amid a neutral global environment on Friday, analysts said.
“The central bank will make a decision on the key rate. We expect the rate to remain unchanged and the rhetoric to be softer due to a complex of reasons. This may support the ruble and local stocks,” Vadim Kravchuk, analyst at investment company Solid said.
The external background ahead of the opening of the domestic market looks neutral, he added.
The main U.S. futures and the Brent oil price are seen slightly higher. The Asian markets are trading mixed.
The market may also be driven by an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) financial report of fertilizer producer Acron.
